Anonymous heroes

When we see in others an inspiring attitude that mirrors our values, we tend to strengthen our positive beliefs as we experience those same values in others.

Anonymous heroes are those who every other day materialise what is right, what is right, not for themselves but for their surroundings.

His exceptionality does not lie in great media achievements, but in the continuous, almost silent, consistent weaving of attitudes of example, paving a fruitful environment for all those within his radius of action.

Unlike the classic heroes who are guided by noble, altruistic ideals and perform extraordinary feats, the unsung heroes are guided by their ethics, by their morals and fight day in and day out, against themselves and the lenient nature that all human beings possess, to add value to the world around them.

And when we come across such people, the tendency is that their attitude strengthens our better attitude.

The mother who struggles to really educate her children for society, the father who works a lifetime to provide what was not provided for him, the doctor who works extra time in the suburbs, the civil servant who works to serve with excellence, the businessman who invests, employs and works for these families, the street sweeper who walks another 30 metres to pick up a piece of paper, the student who improves the classroom, the teacher who spares no effort to raise the level of the less able, the scientist who insists on the search for a cure, the artist who gives of himself, the executive who improves the department next door and so on.

Anonymous heroism is on your side, it is in you.

What does this have to do with corporate sales?

On our path, unlike in other professions, we deal with unknown people who work for their companies, just like us.

You will come across egoists, social psychopaths and some dishonest people. But these are not the majority. On the contrary, they are exceptions.

You will come across people who struggle day and night to add value, each in their own way. And some are true unsung heroes.

Stop with those, your stance will not change. You want to sell to everyone who needs your solutions. But you will realise that they will work in favour of the best synergy, that is, they will enable the best business environment and then for the supplier/customer relationship.

I'm not talking about personal relationships here, but rather a "design" that is best for the relationship between companies. You will feel that the bias is one of healthy longevity.

I know it may sound altruistic or even naïve, but 30 years of working in corporate sales have shown me that yes, there are many people, companies and relationships that are worth building and inspire us more and more.

Anonymous heroes are the servants of good. And we are all capable of feeling this.
