Nobody cares about our achievements

One way for you to end your notoriety and talk about yourself in social media or even in business meetings and calls.

Let others do the talking.

How much you contribute to the market is what "speaks" for you and about you.

You see, companies and entrepreneurs only consider acquiring solutions that solve their problems.

The challenge is to position ourselves with a reliable option.

And contrary to what it may seem, flaunting any such situation will "play" against our goals.

Yeah, by reliability we mean some degree of notoriety.

Posting nonsense will ruin your professional notoriety:

  • Degrees you have earned.
  • The trips he made abroad.
  • Your promotion.
  • Selfie with the artist/politician.
  • The lecture you delivered.
  • The customer you have won.

The market doesn't give a damn about your achievements, nor mine.

Unfortunately it took me many years to learn this. I thought I would gain people's trust by talking about myself and showing how much I have evolved in my career.

The market responds and returns to those who work for it, and not to those who work for themselves.

You can't imagine Tony Blair or any notoriety posting on social media, "Look at me winning the X certificate."

Talking about yourself and flaunting any kind of situation diminishes you in the marketplace. It sends a message of "Mom! Look at me here! Are you proud?"

We must get completely out of the equation and put in place, the value we generate.
